    Worst car rental experience in my life. We rented car in Crank Canaria Airport. In first people who work here were extremely rude(expecially Spanish women from car park).Been extra charged for full tank of petrol with a lot of taxes on the top. Car by itself look very bad with a lot of scratches, damaged mirror and bumper. We returned car after a week in same condition. Because our flight was at 6:45 a. my. we put key in the letter box. Nobody inspect car from Gold car side because of early hours. After one week Gold Car charged us without any explanation.400 pounds!!!Was trying to contact with customer service. After numerous attempts find out it was fine for door damage. When car was checking out each door already had three scratches from each side. We had returned car with exactly same damages, but this company use early hours return against people and charge for false damages because check in impossible from Gold car side at the early morning. This way company people earn some extra money. Avoid this this company and these people if you want save your money. Worst car rental at all. One star too many for them...

    Брал Авто в прокат с 26-06-2017 по 10-07-2017. После возврата авто пришел счет и удержали 200Е за якобы поврежденную дверь. На просьбы предоставить документальные подтверждения повреждения (фото или протокол повреждений) - отвечают что очень заняты. Хотя я им выслал видео состояния автомобиля в котором просил указать - где именно есть повреждения двери. В GOLDCAR даже не могут сказать - какая дверь повреждена !!!!!! На звонки в офис отвечают - все очень заняты. Прошло 2 месяца - игнорируют запросы. Деньги не возвращают. Похоже на обычное мошенничество. Если есть представители GOLDCAR - Пусть ответят

    To my numerous requests to provide any photos or protocols which would show that there really was damage caused the only answer received was that they were very busy, although I sent the video showing the state of the car and asked them to show where exactly the door was damaged. The GOLDCAR cannot even answer which of the doors in fact is damaged!!!!!! During the phone calls to the office the answer is the same – all of them are very busy. Two months have already passed and all the requests are being ignored. The money have not been refunded. It looks like a simple fraud. If the GOLDCAR representatives are present – could they please reply.

    If we did not have insurance through economycarrentals, it would have been very hard to get the money back when they not responded to our messages! Such an dishonest company with so many negative reviews should get shut down!!!!

    This was the worst car rental ever. I booked at Holiday Autos and purchased extra insurance (not from Goldcar). When I picked up the car they told me that the car was fully insured (I booked the insurance coverage from Holiday Autos, so I understood it was this insurance they meant). They said also I'll get a diesel car, which is a bad choice of fuel. Goldcar charged me for insurance and diesel car, which i have not ordered! I talked to "customer service" and didn't get any proper answer and no refund! Warning don't book Goldcar!

    I rented a car from 26-06-2017 till 10-07-2017. After returning the car an invoice was received and the amount of Euro 200 was deducted from my bank account for, as it was said, a damaged door .

    They do not even deserve one star!! There was nobody in place when we picked up the car so took lots of pictures. When we got home we received a message that they would take 220 Euro for that we scratched the car! But you could see in the pictures I have taken the scratch was there before, so they tried to blow us! We had insurance via Economycarrentals so after 2 months they paid back the money !!

    Be very careful when booking with these guys. They will charge you a lot of extra additional cost. I had to pay EUR 54 for a full tank of gas which I did not use up, thought it's just a deposit they are charging me (contract in Spanish says "fianza tarjeta"). Returned the car with full tank but did not get my money back. Other questionable expenses, EUR 13 for "smart return" so that I don't have to pay a penalty for returning the car with non-full tank... not an option not to pay it. Some "mega relax cover" EUR 3,5 which is basically an extra insurance for tire puncture, even though I've paid rental online with full insurance already. Plus another EUR 9 for the company's office being at the airport...(?) All in all, what seemed to be EUR 66 for a 3-day rental, ended up EUR 145.
